  5. I believe that the 21st Century Media Program is a rapidly changing and enormously engaging world to live in! It is one where information is constantly updated by tweets, blogs, and updated statuses. Information can be reached at any time by computers, handheld devices such as ipads, and cell phones. Information must be taken in by using bright colors, large fonts, and most preferably some kind of engaging interactive means. It is a program where students collaborate and share what information is out there and do not recall information, yet manipulate it and move forward with it!

Teachers are collaborating with the media specialist to get the most out of the resources available. Students have access to information in many different formats to accommodate all learning styles. The media specialist is very aware of the standards that must be met and works closely with teachers to help students meet those standards.
