This blog has been created to use in class as a demonstration and to learn about many features of blogging.

A blog resides on the web and may be the only content, or may be part of a bigger set of information or part of a website.
A blog can be used as a journal.  It can be informational --techie tips, advice or reviews. But all blogs allow for sharing and collaborating and are intended to be updated and subsribed to.

Take a look at different blog examples to see what kind of information is on them.  Do some exploring by following the links on the sidebar.
What you might see on a blog: posts (reverse chronological order-most recent first), comments, pages, sidebars, tabs,  links, audio, video, widgets.

This is an example of a blog page--for any information that might not change very often. You could put information about yourself or your site so that readers will know the purpose of your blog.
This blog uses Google’s free tool for creating blogs--Blogger which is hosted for free on blogspot.com.
